![]() | Adam Altman (Billy) Adam Altman is proud to return to the Centre Theater stage with Iron Age Theatre. He lighting designed Iron Age’s recent revival of Shakesploitation! and is excited to be performing with this talented and gracious cast and crew. Adam obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. Adam has also studied acting at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. In addition to Seton Hill, Adam has performed at the Greensburg Civic Theatre, Apple Hill Playhouse, Mozart Hall, and at theme parks Idlewild Park, Santa’s Village, and Buckskin Joe Frontier Town. Some of Adam’s favorite past roles are Feste in Twelfth Night, Mr. Zuss in J.B., Torvald in A Doll House, Orlando in As You Like It (Seton Hill University), Rev. David in the Foreigner, and Antony Wilding in Enchanted April (Apple Hill Playhouse). Aside from acting, Adam has worked behind the scenes as a lighting designer, electrician, carpenter, and stage hand with such theatre companies as, Apple Hill Playhouse, the Palace Theatre in Greensburg, Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh City Theatre. In 2004, Adam received the Peggy Ezekiel Award of Distinction in Student Lighting Design from the Ohio Valley Region of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology for his work on Seton Hill’s production of Proof. Adam is one of the founding members of Wolfgang Amadeus Productions (WAP), a small production company specializing in dinner theatre in Latrobe, PA. |
![]() | Susan Giddings (Eileen) is pleased to be returning to the Iron Age Theater crew in a play by one of her favorite playwrights. Last season she appeared in the Iron Age production of A SKULL IN CONNEMARA and as Aunt Ellen in the Irish Repertory Theatre of Philadelphia’s production of THE WHITEHEADED BOY. Area theaters where Susan has worked include the Lantern, Theatre Exile, Wilma, Bristol Riverside, Celebration Theater of Lansdowne, Allen’s Lane, Hedgerow, and Villanova. Some favorite roles include Jean Brodie (THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE), Judith (HAY FEVER), Eleanor (THE LION IN WINTER), Doctor (AGNES OF GOD), Bella Manningham (ANGEL STREET), Madame Arcati (BLITHE SPIRIT), and Scrooge (A CHRISTMAS CAROL). |
![]() | Steve Hatzai (Johnnypateenmike): Steve has appeared onstage with theatres in Manhattan, Washington DC, Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. He has performed on the Iron Age stage in the ensemble of SHAKESPLOITATION for the Philly Fringe, as Thomas Gray in THE BOYS IN AUTUMN, Phil Hogan in Eugene O’Neill’s A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN, Weston in CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS and Ferris Layman in THE DIVINERS. He is delighted to be returning for this production. Steve’s most recent roles include Todd in the world premiere of AMERICAN SUBLIME with InterAct, The Wizard and Professor Marvel in Mum Puppettheatre’s THE WIZARD OF OZ (Barrymore nomination for Best Ensemble in a Musical) and Father McMullen in Michael Friel’s THE CHILDREN OF FATIMA with Theatre Catalyst. |

Past shows include"THE ELEPHANT MAN", "A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN", "COMING OF THE HURRICANE", "OF MICE AND MEN", "HEAVEN CAN WAIT" and "ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST". Other area productions include "LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!" Steve is a board member of Iron Age Theater and thanks John and Randy for another opportunity to work with the company. |

![]() | Linda Newsted (Kate) Linda appeared as Goldie in THE DIVINERS with Iron Age and as Molly in LAFFERTY’S WAKE at Society Hill Playhouse. While earning an M.A. at Villanova, she appeared as Val in FEN, Sarah in J.B., and Thea in HEDDA GABLER, plus favorite showcase productions with James J. Christy and Irene Baird: MAN AND SUPERMAN, IN THE SHADOW OF THE GLEN, UNCLE VANYA and a gender-reversed DOLL’S HOUSE. Linda was the recipient of Villanova’s Brian Morgan Memorial Scholarship in 1994. She is very happy to be working with her husband, Steve Hatzai, once again. |
![]() | Katy O'Leary (Helen) - Katy O'Leary received a degree in Theatre from Ohio Northern University with a minor in applied math. She also studied physical theatre, contemporary theatre, and acting at QUT in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. After graduation, Katy got her first professional job at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire where she was trained in Shakespeare, Improvisation, stunt falls, and became a certified stage-combatant in quarterstaff, knife, and broadsword. She has also performed new words at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Most recently, Katy took part in two independent films, and has just finished her second season at the PA Ren. Faire. She currently resides in Philadelphia. |
![]() | Judith Clifford (Mammy) - Judy Clifford went to Drama School in the 1950’s where Mme Bulgakov, in veils, pearls and wreaths of smoke, spoke reverently of ‘de verk off de imagination’. Some favorite roles have been Lady Bracknell in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, Mrs. Carrie Watts in THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL by Horton Foote and, long ago, Elvira in BLITHE SPIRIT. Besides family, her other passion is books. |
![]() | Matthew J. McDonough (BabbyBobby) A native of Northwestern Pennsylvania, Matt received his BA in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. He has performed in several regional shows in and around the Erie, Warren, and Pittsburgh areas. Some of his notable performances have been Benedict in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Laertes in HAMLET, Biff in DEATH OF A SALESMAN, and Robert in PROOF. Matt is very excited to be performing for the first time with the Iron Age Theatre Company. |
![]() | Kate McLenigan (Stage Manager) Kate McLenigan was last seen here at the Centre Theatre as Aldonza in MAN OF LAMANCHA and Mags in The East Coast Premire of Sky Girls. Previous roles have included Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Ruth in BOOK OF DAYS, Jennie Mae in THE DIVINERS, and Lula in DUTCHMAN. She also serves as the scenic artist for The Centre Theatre and has painted for productions including THE ELEPHANT MAN, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE DIVINERS, OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. She also paints murals for homes and businesses and holds a B.A. in Theatre and Fine Arts from Seton Hill College. |
![]() | Flint Lymestoen (Rock) A native of the Inishmore, Flint is a chip off the old block as his father appeared in the farming scene in the classic MAN OF ARAN. This is Flints fifth performance as The Stone in CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and his debut with Iron Age Theatre. He has also appeared in THE LOTTERY, RAINING STONES, MAN OF LAMANCHA, and THE HAUNTED CELLBLOCKS at Eastern State Penitentiary. |
