Bob Weick (Socrates) Bob Weick - - Bob is a veteran Stage performer in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area working with such companies as Philadelphia Theatre Company, ESP, Triangle Theatre , The Phila. Fringe Festival, Prior Circumstances, Theatre Outlet, and Civic Theatre, and with Iron Age Theatre where Bob's portrayal of Antarctic explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott earned him a Barrymore Nomination, Best Ensemble,2003. A few favorite regional productions, include: A Skull in Connemara, Proof, Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, The Laramie Project, Gross Indecency, The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, The Scarlet Letter, Boys of Autumn, The Lonesome West, and Waiting for the Ship from Delos, The Last Day of Socrates, to name a few. Bob has also appeared on TV and been featured in the Independent films Berenice, Conspiracized, The Ticking Man and Devils Half Acre. Bob is also the National Touring Actor of Howard Zinn's, “MARX IN SOHO”, having presented over 160 performances of Zinn's play from Maine to California. In the aftermath of the 2000 election, the attacks on 9/11, and the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Bob hopes to use his talent to contribute to the education and engagement of students and citizens. When not onstage or in front of the camera Bob serves the equine community of Bucks County Pa. as a Farrier.
David Corenswet (Lyntos) most recently played the roles of Joe Crowell and Si Crowell in OUR TOWN at the Arden Theatre Company. Other Philadelphia area productions in which he has appeared include ALL MY SONS (also at the Arden), THE STREET OF USEFUL THINGS (Act II Playhouse), FORGIVING HARVEST (People’s Light & Theater Co.), MACBETH (Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival), and LA VIE EN BLEU (Walnut St. Theater).
Markus Zanders(Meletus) This will be Markus' sixth collaboration with Iron Age, previously appearing in OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, THE DIVINERS, SHAKESPLOITATION, and A SKULL IN CONNEMARA. In the daytime, Markus serves as a substitute in the Norristown School District and as an acting coach for the Montgomery Co. Cultural Center's "Heart for the Arts" summer program. He also appears as THE GOODWILL GUY in television ads for Goodwill Industries. Markus dedicates this performance to his newborn son, Zachariah, his Dad John, and a Heavenly Father whom without nothing is possible.
Michael Dura (Crito) Michael has been actively involved in theatre, film, music, dance, and radio for over twenty-five years in the Philadelphia area and elswhere. He has portrayed a variety of characters ranging from Tarzan to Thomas Becket with The Vagabond Acting Troupe, B. Someday Productions, The Brick Playhouse, Philadelphia Dramatists Center,The Drama Group, Lion Theatre, and Big Mess Theatre. Recent roles of note are Oberon in Vagabond’s production of MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and his annual portrayal of Edgar Allen Poe in Big Mess’s collaboration with the Philadelphia Orchestra in it’s Halloween Concert. He has appeared in Iron Age productions of LUTHER and as Gomm in the Barrymore Nominated THE ELEPHANT MAN. He often collaborates with his twin brother Tomas in performances of various media and the two of them have formed and performed as their new Lithuanian musical duo Du Broliukai.Michael recieved his degree in Music at La Salle University in 1975, and studied voice with Regina Zona, Joyce M. DiDonato and Thomas Scurto-Davis. He is a student of Enrico Di Giuseppe
Chuch Beishl (Judge) Chuck studied acting with Marianne Morgan in the Radnor Actor's workshop during the late eighties and performed in Fiddler on the Roof, An Evening with Noel Coward, the Dining Room, Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Inherit the Wind. He studied drama and stage tecniques at University of the Arts in Philadelphia and spent the last fifteen years as a construction crew manager with a large roofing company. Chuck appeared as California Joe in last season's FATHERS AND SONS and as Pozzo in WAITING FOR GODOT..
