Adam Altman (Jack McCall) Adam is appearing with Iron Age Theatre at the Centre Theater for the third time, having recently played Cripple Billy in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and Mairtin Hanlon in A SKULL IN CONNEMARA. Adam holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA and has also studied acting at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. In addition to acting, Adam works behind the scenes as a lighting designer, electrician, carpenter, and technical director. In 2004 Adam received the Peggy Ezekiel Award of Distinction in Undergraduate Student Lighting Design from the United States Institute of Theatre Technology for his work on Seton Hill’s production of PROOF. Adam was last seen as Charlie Cotchipee in PURLIE (Ritz Theatre Co). Up next for Adam are the roles of the Duke of Clarence and Sir James Tyrrel in RICHARD III (Delaware Shakespeare Festival).
Patrick Edward White (Wild Bill) is a Philadelphia area native who has been working in theatre, television and film since receiving his M.A. in theatre from Villanova University in 1998. Patrick is a co-creator of To Sirloin With Love: A Meat Opera, a featured event of the 2000 New York International Fringe Festival and 1999 Philadelphia Fringe Festival, and Up Your Ante, which premiered at the 2001 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. He has previously appeared with Iron Age in Seventy Scenes of Halloween and Night of the Iguana.
Kelly Vrooman (Jane)Kelly is a new face at the Iron Age Theatre. As a graduate of Malone College and the Los Angeles Film Studies Center, Kelly has worked professionally in theatre and film with companies across the continent. Her diversity as an actor has allowed her to play such roles as Tzeitel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, Mercutio in ROMEO AND JULIET and June Sanders in the comedy SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN. Kelly is also a member of the improv comedy troupe, COMEDY SPORTZ.
Chuch Beishl (Joe) Chuch studied acting with Marinanne Morgan in the Radnor Actor's Workshop in the late eighties and attended the University of the Arts. Chuck has spent the last fifteen years of his life roofing. This is his first production with Iron Age Theatre.
David Yashin (Garrison) is currently a Senior Theatre Major at Rider University. David has happily been a victim of a drive by shooting and mauled by zombies during Iron Age's Philadelphia Fringe piece, SHAKESPLOITATION, as well as assaulted and covered with eggs as Bartley in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN. Other past credits include the Centre Theater's productions of CITY OF ANGELS and GODSPELL, TWILIGHT IN THEBES at the New York State Theatre and A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Walnut Street Theatre. Roles portrayed at Rider University's Yvonne Theater include Martini in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO's NEST, Ira Stone in LAUGHTER ON THE 23rd FLOOR, Trent in SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION, Woof in HAIR and Oscar Wilde in GROSS INDECENCY: THE THREE TRIALS OF OSCAR WILDE.
Chris Graziano(Zeke) Chris made his Iron Age Theatre debut in it’s Philadelphia Fringe masterpiece, SHAKESPLOITATION! Other on-stage performances include HALF THE RENT IN AMERICA, and the Center Theatre's MAN OF LAMANCHA. Chris also performs in pit-orchestras for various companies in the Philadelphia area. Credits include THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS; HONK!; The '03 Philadelphia Fringe Festival's highly acclaimed MAD COW MUSICAL; LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS; BIG RIVER; GREASE; and a very special production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.
David Fiebert (Pete) - Dave studied acting at the Hedgerow Theatre in the late 70s and years later earned a Masters in Theatre at Villanova University. His credits include CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, ARMS AND THE MAN, ROMEO AND JULIET, FIFTH OF JULY, NIGHT MUST FALL, HAMLET, MACBETH, FRANKENSTEIN and DEVIOUS MEANS. Dave makes his living as a puppeteer. This is his first show for Iron Age.
Kareem Carpenter (Jackson) Kareem is a native Philadelphian who studied drama and dance in Atlanta, Georgia at Morehouse and Spelman Colleges. He perfrormed as James Horsford Ottley in EYES OF THE AMERICAN at Allen’s Lane theatre and was a company member of The Centre Theater's BIG RIVER..
Markus Zanders (Charlie) This will be Markus' sixth collaboration with Iron Age, previously appearing in OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, THE DIVINERS, SHAKESPLOITATION, and A SKULL IN CONNEMARA. In the daytime, Markus serves as a substitute in the Norristown School District and as an acting coach for the Montgomery Co. Cultural Center's "Heart for the Arts" summer program. He also appears as THE GOODWILL GUY in television ads for Goodwill Industries. Markus dedicates this performance to his newborn son, Zachariah, his Dad John, and a Heavenly Father whom without nothing is possible.
Matthew J. McDonough (Carl) Matt is very excited to be joining the cast and crew of Iron Age Theatre for a second round of theatrical magic and mayhem. A native of Northwestern Pennsylvania, Matt obtained his B.A. in Performance Theatre/Directing from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. Matt has since then performed in many regional shows around the Pittsburgh, Erie, and Warren areas. His favorite roles include Benedict in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Laertes in HAMLET, Robert in PROOF, Biff in DEATH OF A SALEMAN, and of course Babbybobby in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMANN (Iron Age Theatre 2006). Matt would like to extend a very special thanks to his brothers and sisters for teaching him that life can be fun and exciting, his mother for her continued love and support, and his father for his continued love and protection from above.
Kate McLenigan (Clark) Kate McLenigan was last seen here at the Centre Theatre as Aldonza in MAN OF LAMANCHA and Mags in The East Coast Premiere of SKY GIRLS. Previous roles have included Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Ruth in BOOK OF DAYS, Jennie Mae in THE DIVINERS, and Lula in DUTCHMAN. She also serves as the scenic artist for The Centre Theatre and has painted for productions including THE ELEPHANT MAN, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE DIVINERS, OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. She also paints murals for homes and businesses and holds a B.A. in Theatre and Fine Arts from Seton Hill College. Up next, she will be directing DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the Centre Theater in June.
James Santangelo (The Piano Player - Diamond Al) James is a Sophomore at Norristown Area High School. He has studied classical piano since the age of six and is currently studying Jazz piano with Tom Lawson at Temple University. He is also the pianist for the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz Advanced Ensemble. James is a featured pianist at the 2006-2007 NAHS Evening with the Arts events and plays Alto Sax in his high school band. In his spare time, James teaches beginning piano lessons.
