Matthew J. McDonough (Jekyll) Matt is very excited to be joining the cast of Iron Age Theatre for a third round of theatrical magic and mayhem. A native of Northwestern Pennsylvania, Matt obtained his B.A. in Performance Theatre/Directing from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA, he was last seen on the Center Theater Stage as Carl Mann in FATHERS AND SONS and as Babbybobby in CRIPPLE OF INISHMANN ( Iron Age Theatre 2006 - 07 Season). Some of Matt's other regional theater credits include: Benedict in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Laertes in HAMLET, Robert in PROOF, and Biff in DEATH OF A SALEMAN.
Kristi Good (Elizabeth) Kristi is pleased to be making her Iron Age debut. She received her MA in Theatre from Villanova and is an actor/dramaturg in Philadelphia, as well as co-artistic director of Vanity House Theatre in Manayunk. She was most recently seen in Vanity's Philly Fringe production of 12.25. Previous roles include Jillian in MODERN DUMMY (New Light Prod.), Ariel in THE TEMPEST (Villanova), and Meg Pearse in PRAYERS OF SHERKIN (Villanova). Dramaturgical credits include Racine's PHEDRE and Ionesco's THE CHAIRS. Love and thanks to her unfailingly supportive family.
Adam Altman (Ensemble) is appearing with Iron Age for the seventh time, having performed as Hamlet/Benvolio in SHAKESPLOITATION!, Father Welsh in THE LONESOME WEST, Estragon in WAITING FOR GODOT, Jack McCall in FATHERS AND SONS, Cripple Billy in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and Mairtin Hanlon in A SKULL IN CONNEMARA. Adam holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA and has also studied acting at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. In 2004 Adam received the Peggy Ezekiel Award of Distinction in Undergraduate Student Lighting Design from the USITT for his work on Seton Hill's production of PROOF. Other recent onstage credits: ROMEO & JULIET, RICHARD III (Delaware Shakespeare Festival); THE FULL MONTY (Montgomery Theater); PURLIE (Ritz Theatre). Up next, see Adam as Sgt. Chuch Beishl (Ensemble) Chuck is please to return to Iron Age Theatre after stellar performances as Joe in FATHERS AND SONS, Pozzo in WAITING FOR GODOT and The Judge in the World PRemire of WAITING FOR THE SHIP FROM DELOS at this years Fringe festival in Philadelphia. Chuck studied acting with Marinanne Morgan in the Radnor Actor's Workshop in the late eighties and attended the University of the Arts. Chuck has spent the last fifteen years of his life roofing. This is his first production with Iron Age Theatre.
Steve McLean (Ensemble) This marks Steve's 8th appearance in an Iron Age Production. Past shows include THE ELEPHANT MAN, A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN, COMING OF THE HURRICANE, OF MICE AND MEN, HEAVEN CAN WAIT THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. Other area productions include LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION! Steve is a board member of Iron Age Theater and thanks John and Randy for another opportunity to work with the company.
David Fiebert (Utterson/Ensemble) - Dave studied acting at the Hedgerow Theatre in the late 70s and years later earned a Masters in Theatre at Villanova University. He has prefromed recently with Iron Age Theatre in FATHERS AND SONS and as Vladimir in WAITING FOR GODOT. His credits include CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, ARMS AND THE MAN, ROMEO AND JULIET, FIFTH OF JULY, NIGHT MUST FALL, HAMLET, MACBETH, FRANKENSTEIN and DEVIOUS MEANS. Dave makes his living as a puppeteer.
Claire Golden Drake (Ensemble) A University Of The Arts graduate, Claire has been acting, dialect coaching and teaching Children’s Theatre in and around Philadelphia for the past ten years. Previously at The Center Theater, Claire was seen playing the title role in the TOMATO PLANT GIRL, playing various roles in ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY and in THE ELEPHANT MAN with Iron Age Theatre. Claire is an ensemble member of the Vagabond Acting Troupe with whom her credits include Jaques in AS YOU LIKE IT, Polly in their adaptation of HE WHO GETS SLAPPED, and roles in many of their festivals and touring shows. Other theatre credits include work with Bckseet Productions, Hedgerow Theatre Company, Philadelphia Children’s Theatre, Fictitious Theatre Company, Theatre Catalyst and NY’s REV Theatre Company.
