Bob Weick as Karl Marx - Philadelphia credits include Philadelphia Theatre Company [Gavin Miller, According to Goldman, u/s, 3 perfs.], WAIT! with ESP at Theatre Catalyst, Triangle Theatre [ where he studies with George DeCenzo] , The Phila. Fringe Festival [ The Calling, a Prior Circumstances production with Celeste Walker] and most notably with Iron Age Theatre [ Captain Scott,Terra Nova, Slim,Of Mice and Men].

Along with the exceptional cast of Terra Nova Bob's portrayal of Antarctic explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott earned him a Barrymore Nomination, Best Ensemble,2003, under the direction of Randy Wise and John Doyle. A few favorite regional productions , include: Proof, Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, The Laramie Project, Gross Indecency,The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, The Scarlet Letter, The Lonesome West and The Emperors Last Battle. Bob has also appeared on TV and been featured in the Independent films Berenice, Conspiracized, The Ticking Man and the soon to be released, Devils Half Acre.

When not onstage or in front of the camera Bob serves the equine community of Bucks County Pa. as a Farrier. He is the proud father of Bethann and Sarah and, after 26 years, still hopelessly in love with his best friend Maria.

Kate McLenigan (Assistant Director): Kate McLenigan was last seen here at the Centre Theatre as Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Previous roles have included Ruth in BOOK OF DAYS, Jennie Mae in THE DIVINERS, and Lula in DUTCHMAN. She also serves as the scenic artist for The Centre Theatre and has painted for productions including THE ELEPHANT MAN, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE DIVINERS, OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. She also paints murals for homes and businesses and holds a B.A. in Theatre and Fine Arts from Seton Hill College.

Iron Age Theatre is one of the most critically acclaimed companies working in the Philadelphia area. With perfromances ranging from Cocteau to Sam Shepard, Iron Age has consitently produced varied style of drama with high production values. The company presented Amiri Baraka’s incendiary play about race relations DUTCHMAN at the African American Museum. The company was nominated for a Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble for TERRA NOVA at the Center Theatre. It recently produced Steinbeck’s OF MICE AND MEN, Pomerance’s THE ELEPHANT MAN and the O’Neill classic MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. The company has produced the East Coast Premiere of Sky Girls by Jenny Laird.

John Doyle (Director) is co-director of Iron Age Theatre and Managing Director of The Centre Theater. He is an acting professor at cabrini College and has taught directing at the Wilma Theatre in Philadelphia. He helped design the theatre curriculum for the School District of Philadelphia. He is a PA certified English and communications instructor with masters in Theatre from Villanova University. He has been director of the Barrymore nominated Kids: Heart of the Arts program since its inception. Doyle has worked in videography at E.J. Stuart, Modern Video and with Oliver Franklin in Philadelphia.
